You won’t believe what just happened. DealerFire was selected as a 2015 Google Engage All-Star for the second time! The competition was fierce. To be specific, we competed with over 14,000 leading agencies from around the world, and Google chose DealerFire!
Google Engage is a program that helps enhance companies that offer Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, website development, content development and online advertising. We were selected for our achievement in meeting specific pay-per-click goals and helping our customers grow through Google advertising and development through SEM. We thought we were doing amazing things for our customers, but this only validates that all-star effort!
Google gave us two tickets to their Engage Summit, so we will be sending our two SEM Analysts, Scot Standke and Calvin Krusick to Google’s California headquarters. This will allow them to receive advanced training with Google Adwords experts, one-on-one consultation, a tour of the Googleplex, and more.
This amazing opportunity will help further develop our SEM strategies, cutting-edge tactics, and enhance our partnership with Google for our customers. We want to thank all our customers and employees for making this possible. Without your support we wouldn’t be where we are today. We look forward to providing our customers with new initiatives to help catapult their success even further with our website and digital marketing products.
Here’s to getting more leads, selling more cars, and making new friends!
We were honored today with the presence of Governor Scott Walker along with other Wisconsin state and Oshkosh city officials to announce breaking news. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will invest $522,000 in tax credits over three years to help DealerFire with plans to expand our team by approximately 120 new IT jobs.
Eric Hoopman, Founder and Owner of DealerFire shared his gratitude to everyone in attendance, including the entire staff whom were all invited to attend the announcement. “I appreciate the support of everyone in this room who are counting on us to not only amount to something, but amount to something big…something extremely special,” said Hoopman. “As our story evolves from rebel underdog to vibrant and emerging corporation, (don’t worry everyone..we’ll still have our share of fun!), growth at this pace would not have been possible without all your support.

The announcement was followed by a press release and a tour of our offices. Celebration ensued shortly after as Hoopman toasted to a bright future to everyone here at DealerFire.
A polar vortex in the South didn’t slow down the engine that could from Wisconsin!
Energy was high and there were smiles all around, great signs that the industry is growing in leaps and bounds as 23,000 people in the automotive community took over New Orleans at NADA 2014 just a few weeks ago in January. These numbers released by conference organizers make up
10,479 NADA members in a breakout of 4,293 dealers, 3,483 managers and 2,703 allied.
DealerFire was honored to be a part of the excitement this year as 1 of the 565 exhibitors selected. A team of 17 top staff members and leaders joined to represent a relatively small digital presence at the event. In addition to a new booth on site #4275, DealerFire also (more…)
Announcing the release of our newly redesigned and responsive corporate website!
We are excited about the launch of our new company website as a way to really showcase our platform at an ownership level. This much anticipated revamp was done to compliment the responsive design work already being provided to our valued automotive dealership customers.
“After focusing solely on client sites and services for so long, we’re excited to unveil a new site that we feel is more indicative of our capabilities and direction, ” said Aaron Schinke, Vice President of Product and Digital Marketing. “We’re proud to say it’s built using our own website engine, which is what we use to build our dealer’s sites. It really speaks to the flexibility of both our platform and our talented staff.”
Be sure to read the full press release HERE.
Live demonstrations of the responsive platform will also be available at the NADA 2014 Conference & Exposition held at the Earnest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, January 24-27, where the company will also exhibit at booth #4275.
DealerFire was a hot topic at the 15th Digital Dealer Conference held in October 2013 at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV – thanks to all of YOU who stopped by to make this a fantastic event. For those of you whom we missed (and we did miss you!), check out a few highlights here:
New responsive website design features industry-first capability including fully redesigned inventory layouts and vehicle detail pages. WOAH!
The number of users that are doing their online research on a mobile device increases every year. Naturally, this is true in the automotive industry as well. But as search evolves, it seems many car dealerships remain stagnant with their online presence. With the release of its first responsive design website, DealerFire is now offering a way for dealerships to break free from the traditional car dealer website experience. The advantages of having a responsive website are many. On the consumer side, a responsive site means that it offers the same experience whether on a traditional desktop computer, laptop, tablet or even mobile phone. The site actually responds to display properly in whatever setting it is called up in.
Creating a Healthy Work-Life Balance
Cell phones, tablets, laptops, and abundant wireless connections make it possible for employees to be constantly connected to their jobs, social media, and more. This is especially prevalent in IT (Internet Technology) and Customer Support, departments in which DealerFire prides itself in award-winning response times and service even outside normal business hours.
Corey Maertz, Director of Support at DealerFire, recently spoke with Cady Chesney, host of Technically Speaking at LocalJobNetwork.com, to discuss the pros and cons of being constantly connected and what employees can do to create a healthy balance. (more…)
DealerFire Selected as a Winner in the Google Engage All-Star Competition
Aaron Schinke, Director of Digital Marketing at DealerFire, is not a man of many words. When he found out DealerFire, and his Digital Marketing Team received yet another invitation to a Google Event in California, he was ecstatic–that’s right, ecstatic.
His words echoed through the halls and corridors at the DealerFire office in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, like King Leonidas himself, commanding the 300 Spartans into battle. If memory serves correct, it actually went something similar to this:
“Blood alone moves the wheels of history! Have you ever asked yourselves in an hour of meditation – which everyone finds during the day – how long we have been striving for greatness!?” Aaron declared. (more…)
DealerFire is a heavy supporter of community outreach through participation in community events. An opportunity presented last week in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) gathering called Air Venture! Pilots and aviation industry representatives from all over the world come to Oshkosh, WI, to show their wares and share the joys of flight with each other.
One long-standing tradition related to this event is the Mayor’s Breakfast, hosted by various sponsors to welcome visitors to our community. DealerFire, having been a sponsor for several years, gathers a crew of employees for the annual early-morning stroll downtown to join attendees for breakfast and festivities.
MozCon is an SEO conference hosted by Moz (formerly SEOmoz). A sold out event in 2011 and 2012, I was excited to represent DealerFire and and bring home next-level ideas to both the company and our automotive dealer customers.
Held in Seattle, Washington, July 8-10th, I had just spent the 4th of July weekend with my wife, Meagan, in Chicago. It’s always hard to leave family, but I had those butterflies of a new adventure as soon as I stepped of the “L” into Midway.
Boarding my plane, I began the journey… (more…)
