You won’t believe what just happened. DealerFire was selected as a 2015 Google Engage All-Star for the second time! The competition was fierce. To be specific, we competed with over 14,000 leading agencies from around the world, and Google chose DealerFire!
Google Engage is a program that helps enhance companies that offer Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, website development, content development and online advertising. We were selected for our achievement in meeting specific pay-per-click goals and helping our customers grow through Google advertising and development through SEM. We thought we were doing amazing things for our customers, but this only validates that all-star effort!
Google gave us two tickets to their Engage Summit, so we will be sending our two SEM Analysts, Scot Standke and Calvin Krusick to Google’s California headquarters. This will allow them to receive advanced training with Google Adwords experts, one-on-one consultation, a tour of the Googleplex, and more.
This amazing opportunity will help further develop our SEM strategies, cutting-edge tactics, and enhance our partnership with Google for our customers. We want to thank all our customers and employees for making this possible. Without your support we wouldn’t be where we are today. We look forward to providing our customers with new initiatives to help catapult their success even further with our website and digital marketing products.
Here’s to getting more leads, selling more cars, and making new friends!
A work environment unlike any other.
Recently, DealerFire staff of the female persuasion decided to take a painting class together for a little girls night out. As part of the class, we had pre-chosen a piece of artwork for inspiration and then were led step by step through the painting process by a seasoned instructor.
As each of us let loose of our inner artist and our masterpieces began to take form, individual creativity and personality was slowly revealed. And while each of us were given the same tools and were shown the same technique, each painting took on its own form.
Some of us were harder on ourselves than others. Some singularly seemed more beautiful than the next. Some skies were more blended and some grasses more lush. A few adventurous souls stepped out of the box and added their own flair or painted something different altogether. (more…)
We were honored today with the presence of Governor Scott Walker along with other Wisconsin state and Oshkosh city officials to announce breaking news. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will invest $522,000 in tax credits over three years to help DealerFire with plans to expand our team by approximately 120 new IT jobs.
Eric Hoopman, Founder and Owner of DealerFire shared his gratitude to everyone in attendance, including the entire staff whom were all invited to attend the announcement. “I appreciate the support of everyone in this room who are counting on us to not only amount to something, but amount to something big…something extremely special,” said Hoopman. “As our story evolves from rebel underdog to vibrant and emerging corporation, (don’t worry everyone..we’ll still have our share of fun!), growth at this pace would not have been possible without all your support.
Exclusive coverage also from Fox 11-WLUK-TV.

The announcement was followed by a press release and a tour of our offices. Celebration ensued shortly after as Hoopman toasted to a bright future to everyone here at DealerFire.
While the ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality is legendary here at DealerFire, so is giving back to the community. The opportunity to do all three presented itself for a second consecutive year participation in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Held in our own backyard at Shore Lanes in Oshkosh, 100% of funds raised directly benefits children served in the local Fox Valley Region.
With a goal of doubling our participation from last year, staff exceeded all expectations with seventeen bowlers spread across three teams. A total of $1,082 was raised putting DealerFire in the top five fundraisers for the event. (more…)
A few months ago, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Head Football Coach, Pat Cerroni, visited our office to present “Coaching Leaders” to Team DealerFire. While here, he mentioned a local food drive opportunity and encouraged our company to get involved. As a result, we are honored to be included in the 2013 “Oshkosh Scares Out Hunger” program.
Held between October 25-30, several community businesses partnered with the UWO Athletics Department in collecting non-perishable food donations. These would be accepted at drop-off locations around the city in support of the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry. But the fun doesn’t stop there for DealerFire, as staff continues to bring items into the office in a bit of friendly competition between departments.
Top progressive companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon and DealerFire are always looking to hire, but how do you get noticed among the hundreds of other applicants? Christian Salazar, Director of Sales at DealerFire, provides Top 3 lists of do’s and don’ts in how to land the dream job you’ve always wanted.
What do college football and digital marketing have in common? LOTS!
It might sound cliche, but it all comes down to teamwork.
This was one message University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh championship head football coach Pat Cerroni provided during his recent visit to the DealerFire office in WI.
What makes Coach “C” an expert? LOTS!
For one, Cerroni has lifted the Titans football program to a higher level in his six years as head coach than any of his 23 predecessors had managed to accomplish. During 2012, the team made its first NCAA Division III playoff appearance and came one game short of playing for the national championship. The Titans also claimed their first WIAC title in 36 years. DealerFire is a heavy supporter of community outreach through participation in community events. An opportunity presented last week in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) gathering called Air Venture! Pilots and aviation industry representatives from all over the world come to Oshkosh, WI, to show their wares and share the joys of flight with each other.
One long-standing tradition related to this event is the Mayor’s Breakfast, hosted by various sponsors to welcome visitors to our community. DealerFire, having been a sponsor for several years, gathers a crew of employees for the annual early-morning stroll downtown to join attendees for breakfast and festivities.
Breaking Free or Ball and Chain?
Guest blogger and Sales Associate, Scott Bradley reveals the truth…
DealerFire. It’s the worst place to work. They chain you to your desk as soon as you get there and never let you move. Christian Salazar, Sales Director, and James Antos, Sales Manager, drive you to near insanity with constant nagging. You never get to enjoy yourself, and if you don’t meet your goals you get docked pay.
None of that is true.
DealerFire, in all actuality, is great. Being a farm kid from the Oshkosh, WI area and graduating from UWO (University of Wisconsin Oshkosh) in May 2013 with a degree in Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Journalism, I never expected to work in sales of any kind, let alone in the automotive industry. One week later I started my current job as a Sales Associate at DealerFire. (more…)
