Project Overview
Roger Beasley Mazda Auto Group of Austin, Texas is an established dealership group with three Mazda rooftops. They recently announced the 35th anniversary of Roger Beasley Mazda, a milestone that makes them the longest standing and largest Mazda dealership in the Lone Star State. After providing marketing services on a limited basis for the past 2 years, DealerFire was given the task of boosting their Internet presence, including the redesign of their Web Sites.

Client Needs
After a series of planning sessions with the dealership principles, the DealerFire team identified several areas of need that had to be addressed.

             
Sites visually outdated and in need of common identifying elements to tie the three stores together. Creation of common themes tying all four Web Sites together, while maintaining a unique style and presence for each. DealerFire created new Web Sites for each of the three dealers which had commonalities in design themes and functionality while each reflecting their unique personalities and styles.
No common portal for visitors to access the dealership group as a whole from the Web. Created a portal site, GetAMazda.com, and marketed it as the one-stop shop for Austin area Mazda buyers. This portal site has served as a hub for a large portion of the groups combined marketing efforts, not only on the Web, but in print, TV and radio. The first month the portal site is launched generates over 10,000 unique visitors.
Multiple Internet providers cause problems for Web Site updates and additions. Emphasized the synthesis between Mazda Corporate and the dealerships by utilizing all available Mazda Web tools. Visitors to the sites are able to find all the necessary shopping tools needed to make informed decisions. This included advertising all of the current incentives and special offers as well as tying in to the national TV and radio campaigns. Visitors are now staying on the site an average of seven minutes longer per visit, an increase of over 30 percent.
No Mazda Corporate presence or specialized selling/marketing tools. The need to increase online marketing across all channels of the web, including lead generation from the portal site. Online marketing efforts are increased for all brands and the portal site, particularly focusing on driving traffic to the sites through the search engines. These efforts resulted in a 15% increase in web leads from every source from March '07 vs. March '06. Additionally, April '07 vs. Apr '06 saw a 23% increase in leads from every source. All three dealerships achieve top five sales rankings for their region for the first quarter.
